Get up, dress up, show up and never give up!

So much going on in my head these days. So many plans yet I don't feel like want to move at all. Gahh it would be nice if I have a magic wand so that everything will seems like so much easier. Life is hard, nobody says it's easy either. Time passes in just a blink of an eye, I will be no longer a teenager. I feel like I couldn't catch up sometimes; feeling like I'm stuck in nowhere, in need of someone to pull me up. But in fact I'm the one who should get up and start moving. Been thinking a lot in this holidays: thinking about my future and plans, still, action speaks louder than words. Maybe the reason why I don't feel like moving at all is because I don't have much faith in myself. There are too many sounds around me, stopping me from what I wanted to do. 

In fact most successful people had been taking a lot of risk. They failed a lot of times but they don't give up and continue trying because they believe they can so they can. Think when you were a kid, everything is possible. Somehow, I know it's hard to think like a kid when we live in this realistic World. If we can dream it, we can do it. If we want something, just go for it...Just like when we were kids. We cry to get things we want, when things get tougher did we stop trying? No! Because we believe. Miracles do happen. We risk it or never risk at all. Maybe at the time you're worrying, you could've already done a lot of things. We shouldn't just sit there and think about life. We should stand up and start moving!

I've always know that we should live in the moment instead, because every moment we spend worrying about tomorrow is a moment we lose from enjoying today. So do whatever you want today and worry no more. Life is too short to worry things like this, just do it. If things don't get the way you planned, just laugh it off and try again until you succeed. In the very moment you want to give up, give it all you got! You are on the brink of your breakthrough. Everyone will die anyway so do not stop trying, you will only regret of never trying. Read an article lately about a man earn RM3000 a month but wanted to buy a ferrari, his wife asked him a question, saying 'isn't it sad if you can't buy things you like in this World?' So he decided to buy the ferrari and guess what, he managed to pay the bills on time, he didn't know how he did it, he just made it. 

Silent night

Went to my Church for Christmas Eve tonight. The view was spectacular, the place was crowded. Thank God because everything was going according to the plan. Hopefully this night could let people know more about our God, Jesus Christ.   

Love is patient, love is kind.

Every girl's dream guy

Didn't update my blog yesterday because it was a busy day, phew... So I will be posting 2 posts today, hope u guys enjoy~ :)  

So today I will be talking about love. Frequently, we girls will always ask ourselves "Where's my prince charming?" My perfect guy. Loyal, handsome, rich, knows how to cook, caring, understanding, romantic, supportive and so on. Alright, wake up girls, there ain't such guy in this World. There's only guy who's only perfect for you even he has flaws cuz you're in love. In reality, boys and girls have a huge diff. You thought you could find a man that understand you but the truth is no, guys are just stupid, they won't know you are sad, disappointed or something if you don't tell them straight away. They don't play mind games. If you're sad, just tell them because he will never know you sad unless you tell him. Sometimes after u already gave him a lot of hints that you're sad, he still couldn't get it, because that's diff between girls and boys. Don't fool by those dramas and movies. Though, you can still see some movies about a girl falls in love with her guy best friend. Too many girls fall in love with their guy bestfriends because they fought a lot but eventually they will get back together, because girls just could tell everything to the boys who they trust aka guy best friends but not to their boyfriends, cuz they're afraid they might ruin their relationships if the girl told their boyfriends about their problems, fears and so on. Always heard that girls should always stay positive for a healthy relationship. Girls are meant to be emotional creature. If it's a guy best friend, u are not commit in relationship with him means if one day he suddenly walks away you won't feel that sad because you know he will eventually come back to you, there will be no drama, no awkwardness.  But a boyfriend, means if you guys broke up , there's no turning back just like Taylor Swift's song "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", if you're lucky enough, you will still be friends with your ex.  

Anyway, nobody is perfect. We fall, we learn, we grow. If we know the diff between girls and guys, we can develop a healthy relationship with our partners...will think about to write a post on the diff between guys and girls, stay tuned :) Btw, Merry Christmas Eve! Lots of love! XOXO

Winter Solstice Festival

Dongzhi festival or Winter Solstice Festival is one of the most important festivals celebrated by Chinese and East Asians, it's a traditional Chinese festival, usually falls on December 21st, 22nd or 23rd instead of a fixed date.  My mum added it's more important than Chinese New Year, well I don't think so :P   

There is no holiday for this festival. Some might work half day though, it depends on the generosity of one's boss. Dongzhi isn't only a celebration, food, drinks and so on. It marks the longest night and shortest day of the year with the sun at its lowest point in the sky.  

Normally we will make and eat tangyuan or balls of glutinous rice, which symbolize reunion .Tangyuan are made of glutinous rice flour and sometimes brightly coloured. They are cooked in a sweet soup or savory broth with both the ball and the soup/broth served in one bowl.   

 Everyone lazy to make tangyuan so why not just buy from Pasar :P

Cook myself. Recipe? Easy. Just add organic sugar in boiling water XD The flavor of tangyuans aren't bad. The purple is yam; green is matcha green tea but the filling inside is black beans; yellow is peanut.

We aka Chinese also believe that the festive food is also a reminder that celebrators are now a year older and should behave better in coming year.

Went to my grandparents house to have family dinner, without my aunts, so I still think Chinese New Year is more important :P  

Before going to my grandparents house, I went Kedai Runcit near my house to buy something for my grandparents, couldn't go with empty hands right XD and I found this hehe.

We had fun. My baby cousin kept crying so my uncle plays some Chinese New Year (CNY) -M Girls music videos, soon, he stopped crying. When listening to CNY songs, I feel so excited and can't wait CNY to come. Ang paus, food, drinks......ahh!! Life is so good!! XD

Special gift for everyone

Ever feel frustrating to find a perfect gift for your special someone? Well, worry no more :) Scrapbook is a great gift for everyone at any ages. Who wouldn't like to receive something which could store memories right? :P It's fun and exciting to make too, well not for those people who doesn't like DIY. Besides that, it can save costs and we can sure they would like our gift, no gamble, no risk. (I would like to show some of ideas in pictures on making a scrapbook)     

 

You can put stuff you like, for example, tickets, cutout from magazines, keychains, stickers and your favorite things

If you are patient, making a scrapbook will be as easy as ABC. Although making scrapbook might be time-consuming but trust me all your hard work will pay off. U will feel proud of yourself and maybe will want to open a scrapbook shop in future :o

It's beneficial to have a hobby, making scrapbook can be one of the hobby. So, what are you waiting now? Let's get started, who knows you will get addicted? :o    

1. Firstly, u need to prepare some materials like manila cards, patterned papers, scissors, adhesive, pens, scrapbook album and embellishments.

2. Now, u can brainstorm on a theme, there's many themes you can consider, for example, your child's graduation album, your trip in somewhere, and so on.   

3.Then, think of a list of stories to tell. Ready a selections of photos and think the placement of page elements. 

4. After that, crop and adhere your photos  

5. Oh, don't forget about the page title. Some journalling will help too. 

6. Lastly, dressing up your scrapbook with embellishments plus protecting and housing your scrapbook.  

   

This is my first scrapbook, well the quality of the materials aren't that good, but I am sure my scrapbook is creative :)

By the way, you can don't follow my steps if u have more creative ideas on how to make a scrapbook. Besides, there are a lot of ways to make a good scrapbook such as using scrapbook-making app... Good luck on making scrapbook, lots of love xoxo

Nothing can drag us down

Life is so challenging. How can one be happy if there are so much going on in their life? If you see someone always smiling it's not because they are real happy; not because they want to hide their negative feelings, too. They are just mature enough to let go and ready to receive better things to come.  

Sometimes what really killed us is experiences. If we've enough bad experiences, we won't fall easily. Even if it's our first time, we shouldn't give up easily when bad things happened. Why? Because at least we've been living a good life before. If we think about those people who has to fight very hard for shelter, food and water, u will know that we are so much luckier...you can even read my blog now.  

People say how can one survive without wifi...well they did survived.  

We should always think how strong we supposed to be instead of  how unlucky we are. If you want to compare, there are lotta things to compare, be it blogs. I believe there are much better blogs out there if compared to mine. But did I stop blogging? Nope, because I know the fact that comparing yourself with anyone in this World is insulting yourself. Be grateful :) 

New

I've been wanted to create a blog for a very long time and I finally did it! :D The feelings are so unreal. Well, this isn't my first blog. If u ever see my first blog, trust me u would laugh because I thought I can write blogs to learn English so I just find some good essays and copy them to my blogs aha! (It didn't work out)
